Stella PADD – an innovative ground reinforcement system for equestrian applications.

K.S. Centurion is the largest dressage training center for sport horses in Poland. In cooperation with Dominika Kraśko, the grids were installed to provide ground reinforcement inside the horse walker. The walker is used 6 hours a day, and all the horses are fully shod.

A crucial feature of STELLA PADD grids is the way in which the individual elements are joined during assembly. The installation of the ground reinforcement system for equestrian applications is exceptionally straightforward and requires no professional expertise. All it takes is the use of the appropriate equipment and the required quantity of materials for the size of the facility in question. There are currently many similar solutions on the market. What is important, however, is to consider only such systems which are able to optimally meet the expectations and requirements of potential users.

Stella Padd grids do not overlap during use and are entirely safe for horses. The dense honeycomb design of the grids is incredibly solid and withstands extreme loads exerted by the small surface area of a horse’s hoof. What is more, the individual grid cells have mini retention reservoirs which allow the substrate to retain moisture for longer during its use. At the same time, the cells are specially designed to prevent the infill material from migrating into the ground.

Nowadays, equestrian facilities and stables require the use of modern solutions which guarantee adequate ground stability. Once installed, STELLA PADD grids form an integrated ground stabilizing system. They can be filled with any type of loose material to ensure suitable drainage. Importantly, the surface of the gridded area remains consistently level. Additionally, the upper surface of the grids has anti-slip properties.

Another crucial feature of the solution, next to its safety and comfort of use, is its respect for the natural environment. The manufacturer of the STELLA PADD grids uses for production its own raw material consisting of pure polypropylene and post-industrial polyethylene, which is free from heavy metals.
